Bike Rental Prices in Manali
Bike rent in Manali starts from ₹1,200 per day. The price shown on each bike above is the current rate. Rates are higher in peak season and on weekends, and lower on weekdays.
Weekly and monthly rentals, and group bookings of five bikes or more, get a discount when arranged in advance. Fuel is not included.

If you paid by UPI or cash, the deposit is refunded on the spot when you return the bike. Card refunds take around 7 working days, depending on your bank.
Documents Required to Rent a Bike
- Indian riders: original driving licence for motorcycle with gear, shown physically or online (DigiLocker), and a government ID.
- Foreign riders: passport, home-country driving licence and an International Driving Permit.
- Minimum age: 18, with a valid permanent licence. We do not rent on a learner's licence.
How to Book a Bike in Manali
- 1Choose your bike online, on WhatsApp, by phone, or walk in to either office.
- 2Pay 10% advance online to confirm, or call us for the booking amount.
- 3Tell us your route. There is no kilometre limit, but rent and deposit are set by where you are going.
- 4Collect the bike from Log Huts Road or Vashisht, or ask for delivery to your hotel.
We accept UPI, cards and cash. Bookings are non-cancellable and non-refundable, so please check your dates before you confirm.

Manali to Leh Ladakh on a Rented Bike
The Manali–Leh highway is the ride most of our customers come for. Here is what you need to know before you book.
- Days
- plan at least 5 to 6 days. More is better, for rest and weather.
- Bike
- we recommend an adventure bike, the Himalayan 450 or Himalayan 411. The Hunter and Bullet can also make the trip.
- Deposit
- ₹10,000, refundable.
- Season
- the highway is open for about four to five months a year, usually June to October.
- Inside Ladakh
- you can ride our bike from Manali to Leh, on to Kargil, and back. For local sightseeing from Leh, such as Nubra, Pangong and Hanle, Ladakh rules require a locally registered bike, so you rent one in Leh for those days and our bike stays parked. Our team explains this and the permits before you leave.
- One-way to Leh
- you can leave the bike in Leh instead of riding back. This needs a rental of more than three days and has a separate charge.
- Backup vehicle with mechanic
- ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 per day depending on the trip. It carries an oxygen cylinder, medical kit, puncture and tool kit, and your luggage.
Manali to Spiti Valley on a Rented Bike
- Route
- through the Atal Tunnel and over Kunzum Pass to Kaza. Rough road, water crossings and long stretches without fuel.
- Deposit
- ₹5,000 to ₹8,000, refundable.
- Season
- the Kunzum side is open for about four to five months, usually June to October.
- Winter Spiti
- in winter Spiti can be reached from the Kinnaur side, depending on weather and snow. The road to Kaza is risky in these months, so speak to our team first.
- Carry
- ask us in advance for a jerry can and spare tube.

Why does the Himalayan 450 have two prices?
We have two versions. The tubeless-tyre version costs a little more because punctures are far less of a problem on long routes. The tube-tyre version costs less.

Is there a discount for weekly, monthly or group bookings?
Yes. Weekly and monthly rentals and groups of five bikes or more get a discount. Tell us in advance.
Is fuel included in the rent?
No. The bike comes with enough fuel to reach the nearest petrol pump. You fill what you need, and unused fuel is not refunded.
Is there a daily kilometre limit?
No. There is no kilometre limit. You only need to tell us your route before you leave, because rent and deposit depend on it.
Deposit and payment
How much is the security deposit for a bike in Manali?
₹2,000 for local rides, ₹5,000 to ₹8,000 for Spiti and ₹10,000 for Leh–Ladakh. It is refundable.
When is the deposit refunded?
Instantly on return if you paid by UPI or cash. If you paid by card, it takes around 7 working days, depending on your bank.
How much advance do I need to pay?
10% if you book online. If you book by phone, our team will tell you the amount for your bike.

What is the charge for returning the bike late?
There is no fixed charge. It depends on how late you are, and the branch will confirm the amount. Call us as soon as you know you will be late.

Your original driving licence, shown physically or online, and a government ID.
What is the minimum age to rent a bike?
18 years, with a valid permanent licence. We do not rent on a learner's licence.
Can I rent a motorcycle with a car or scooter licence?
No. You need a motorcycle-with-gear licence for bikes.

We have two. The main office is on Log Huts Road, about 500 m from Mall Road. The second is near Vashisht Temple. Get directions

Both offices are open from 7 AM to 7 PM every day. Early pickup or late return can be arranged by calling in advance, sometimes at an extra charge.
How far is your office from the Volvo bus stand?
The Log Huts Road office is about 1 to 1.5 km from the Volvo bus stand.

Can I take a rented bike from Manali to Leh–Ladakh?
Yes. Tell us before you leave. The deposit for Leh is ₹10,000.
Which bike is best for the Manali to Leh trip?
We recommend an adventure bike, the Himalayan 450 or Himalayan 411. The Hunter and Bullet can also do the trip comfortably.
How many days do I need for Manali to Leh by bike?
At least 5 to 6 days. More days make the trip safer and more enjoyable.

Can I ride a Manali rental bike to Nubra Valley and Pangong Lake?
No. You can ride our bike to Leh and Kargil and back, but for local sightseeing from Leh, such as Nubra, Pangong and Hanle, you need a bike rented in Leh. Our bike stays parked in Leh for those days. Our team explains the rules and permits before you go.
Can I drop the bike in Leh instead of riding back to Manali?
Yes. One-way drop in Leh is possible on rentals of more than three days, at a separate charge. Confirm with our team when you book.
Do you provide a backup vehicle and mechanic for Ladakh trips?
Yes. A backup vehicle with a mechanic costs ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 per day depending on the trip. It carries an oxygen cylinder, medical kit, puncture and tool kit, and your luggage.
Do you provide a jerry can, spare tube and spare parts for long trips?
Yes, if you book them in advance. You pay only for what you use and return the rest.
Do you provide a luggage carrier or saddle bags?
A luggage carrier is free if you ask when you book. We do not have saddle bags.
When is the Manali–Leh highway open?
For about four to five months a year, usually June to October. Dates change with snow each year, so check with us before planning.
Can I ride to Spiti Valley from Manali, and can I go in winter?
Yes. In summer the route goes over Kunzum Pass. In winter Spiti can be reached from the Kinnaur side, depending on weather and snow; the road to Kaza is risky then, so speak to our team first.
Can I ride a rental bike to Rohtang Pass?
No. Rohtang Pass needs a government permit and our rental two-wheelers are not allowed there. You can ride through the Atal Tunnel to Sissu instead.
Safety and damage
What happens if the bike breaks down or gets a puncture?
Call us. We are local and will guide you to the nearest help and arrange support. Punctures are fixed by the rider at a nearby shop. Repair support is chargeable, and we explain this before you take the bike.
Who pays for damage or an accident?
The rider pays for any damage to the bike. Our bikes carry third-party insurance, which helps in legal or third-party claims.
