The Thar is the stronger choice for bad roads and high passes. The Jimny is compact and easy to park in Kullu and Manali, and the automatic removes the worry of clutch work on steep climbs. All three carry four adults; luggage space is limited, so ask for a roof carrier in advance if you need one.

If you paid the deposit by UPI or cash, it is refunded on the spot when you return the car. If you paid by card, the refund takes around 7 working days and the exact time depends on your bank.
Important: Tell us your full route before you leave. Rent and deposit are set by where you are going. If the car is taken somewhere other than the route you told us, the deposit is not refunded.
Documents Required to Rent a Car
- Indian drivers: original car driving licence (LMV), shown physically or online (DigiLocker), and a government ID.
- Foreign drivers: passport, home-country driving licence and an International Driving Permit.
- Minimum age: 18, with a valid permanent car licence. We do not rent on a learner's licence.

Any damage to the car is paid by the customer, including burn marks on seats from smoking and damage caused by pets. Child seats are not available.

What happens if I take the car somewhere I did not tell you about?
Rent and deposit are set by your route. If the car is taken to a place with a different rent or deposit without telling us, the security deposit is not refunded.

Can I drive a rental car to Rohtang Pass?
Yes. Rohtang Pass needs a government permit, which you apply for yourself because it carries your licence details. The permit fee is not included in the rent. Our team will help you with the process if you need it.
Can I take the car to Spiti or Leh–Ladakh?
Yes. Tell us before you leave. The deposit for these routes is ₹10,000 to ₹15,000.
Who pays for tolls, green tax, parking and challans?
The customer. None of these are included in the rent.
Safety, damage and extras
Are the cars insured? Who pays for damage?
The cars carry third-party insurance. Any damage to the car itself is paid by the customer.
What happens if the car has a puncture or breaks down?
Every car comes with a spare tyre and a tool kit so you can change a wheel. For anything else, call us and our local team will guide you.
Do you provide snow chains in winter?
Yes, at an extra charge.

Are smoking and pets allowed in the car?
